Our research is focused on the development and application of structural equation models for the study of change with an emphasis on psychometric issues. Three specific themes evolve from this general focus: (1) The use of dynamic individual-level models to characterize intraindividual variability and short-term change, (2) The adaptation of latent change score models for examining multivariate dynamics and long-term change, and (3) The application of multitrait-multimethod (MTMM) models to psychological data. We employ cutting-edge methods derived from these themes to study developmental questions in the Mexican-origin population. Click on the links below to learn about our scientific contributions as they relate to the aforementioned themes.
